What we're seeing
At Solano County Special Education, the student:teacher ratio has risen 23% over the 5-year window — from 7.3:1 in 2020 to 9.0:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 8.1:1 below in 2020 to 6.4:1 below in 2024.
