At Lick (James), chronic absenteeism has fallen 56% over the 5-year window — from 5.3% in 2017 to 2.3% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 22.8% below in 2017 to 25.7% below in 2020.
