What we're seeing
At Learning by Design Charter, chronic absenteeism has been essentially flat over the 5-year window — from 0.0% in 2020 to 57.4% in 2024. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 28.0% above in 2020 to 29.4% above in 2024.
